- The Program contains the Chemfile library which makes
a large number of synthesis protocols available.
- A synthesis program is created in two steps:
- Importing the peptide sequence from any text file.
- Assigning a synthesis protocol from the ChemFile library for every cycle of the synthesis.

|
- Each cycle of the synthesis can receive a completely
different protocol. This flexibility allows not only single
or multiple connections, but also complete freedom in
the choice of the coupling strategy within any particular
synthesis cycle.
- The names and molecular weights of the amino acids and
reagents are also saved in libraries and can be chosen for
use in the current synthesis program.
- The volumes in the synthesis protocols can also be
automatically adjusted to the synthesis scale through
the use of a „scaling factor“.
- A calculation program calculates the amount and the
volume of the amino acids, reagents and solvents used
as well as the concentration and the anticipated
synthesis time.
- Various program parts and protocols can be saved or printed.
- The program for the automatic synthesis can started
from any particular synthesis step.
- Individual synthesis steps can be added, volumes, times
or reagents changed or preactivations added afterwards.
During the synthesis, it is possible to intervene with a
„manual program“ to make modifications or technical
alterations such as aspiration and dispensing speeds of
the pumps.
is menu controlled and can routinely create a
complete synthesis program in a few seconds.
